this is the work that I did today and it was fun to do.

immersion assembly

this morning we did an immersion assembly and it was fun because we get to see different kind of video's and it was fun to see it and the first one we saw was  Mr Jacobson and Mr Burt and Mr Somerville and they did BB-8 and they had a remote and they could move it with it and then when Mrs Tele'a said try say nice things to BB-8. the words she said was "come over here you good looking. thing you are" then it came to her and she said go to 
Mr Burt and Mr  Somerville  and it did but it went to the middle of. the stage and then Mr Burt said "is it my turn" then Mr Somerville said "yup it is your turn" then Mr Burt went to close to BB-8 and then it used one of those grabber's  and it pinched him. and then it sprayed him and then sprayed the kids and then Mr Jacobson jumped up and all of them were surprised and then Mr Burt said " welcome Team 1.


we saw Team 1's video and the character's is Mrs mason,Mrs hockly,Mrs Squires,Mrs Dwyer and Mrs Lal and it was cool to see their one and it was about bees die but the first one was when they are little kids and they wanted to have fruit and they started to cry about it and then there was this new's about the bee's been killed and want to know what is happening to the bee's and they called a team of people who like looking after the world and this little girl in point England school she said that the bee's are been murdered  and  looked at one of them and they said that the bees are die so Mrs Dwyer and then Mr Burt called team 2. 

Team 2 does a video.a Easter egg hunt last term and how they found the eggs, to find them team 2 looked under, over, left, right and all around their space to find the chocolate covered marshmallow eggs. This term they will be hiding their own treasure and will be creating their own treasure maps and once they have completed their maps they will give the map to their friends and they will try to find the hidden treasure and it was cool to watch and people will like it to.  

Team 3's movie was about pick a path this term they will be focusing on pick a paths and they will be getting to pick where they go, in the movie Miss Scanlan gave an example where she was walking to school and along the way she met a fairy who gave her some choices to go to make the walk to school a bit more fun.

Team 4's movie was about how all the teachers accept for Mr Goodwin all gathered at pak'n save and Mr Goodwin gave them a task that they could not use their gps or their car to get back to school he left a map close to where they met at and off they went trying to find the way back to school, when they arrived back at school they were all mad at Mr Goodwin because he was the one who made them go through what they just went through  and they got mad at him and took his phone and leave.

Team 5's little play was about VTA which stands for Virtual Travel Agency Miss Tapuke and her family wanted to go on a two week vacation and the first continent that they went to was Europe where the Eiffel tower was and the second location they went to was North America where they went to Disneyland and the third place they went to was Africa where Miss Tapuke got to pet a lion in the wild the last place that they went to was Asia where they went to the great wall of China.

S.M.C which stands for Sporty Space, Maker Space and Creative Space Miss Va'afusuaga who is the Sporty Space teacher and Mr Vogt who is the teacher for Maker Space and lastly Mrs Lagitupu who is Creative Space teacher also created their own movie, their movie was about Teachers in Space it was about what time they wake up, how they get to school, how much time they take to get to school and which way to go to school, and also they showed all the things that they need to take care of at school.

My favourite out of all it was Teachers in Space I enjoyed seeing their morning routine and how they take care of the emergency's at school. Mr Vogt helped pick up the rubbish so that the "virus" does not spread around the school and Mrs Lagitupu took care of all the coding and laptop stuff and Miss Va'afusuaga who took care of the meteoroid from hitting earth.

Overall I am very very excited for what we are going to be learning this term and excited about my animation and also about learning latitude and longitude and learning about all the continents and where they are.

Hi there, today after morning tea we had 3 people come and talk to us about there careers. The thing that was quite funny was the fact that they we some how related to Mrs Tele'a. The people that came were Tanielu Tele'a, Fiona Bakulich, Jason Young. This is because we are learning about ourselves and family and our past present and future and in the future in we are going to have careers so that's what the 3 people talked about.

Jason Young is a builder, he is friends with Mr Tele'a. He came to Pt England quite a few years ago, he talked to us about following our passion and setting a goal but also trying out new things everyday. Jason told us that when he was at Point England and the school was so different and where he was standing now use to be a dental clinic. We asked him a few questions like about his life and things he faced during life.


The second person was Fiona Bakulich she is Mrs Tele'a's sister. They grew up and spent most of there lives in Mangere, they went to school there and lived there so that was there local community. For Fiona's career she decided to take up funeral directing like her parents. Fiona told us about how she used to help with bodies of loved ones and do things like that and learnt not to be scared and just doing it with love and respect for the families. Fiona told us that she finish college or university. She decided on becoming a funeral director because that's what her parent did and she didn't want her parents working to hard and to many hours so she did it for her family.

The last person to talk to us was Tanielu Tele'a, the son of Mrs Tele'a and also a blues player. Tanielu once came to Point England school he told us that he loved playing sport at lunch and doing work in class. We asked hime loads of questions about his career what he want to do in the future and how he felt about becoming a blues player. He also gave us advice to love our parents and take the advice they gives us.

After they were all done we said thank you and gave them a present and we moved off to our classes. Overall I had loads of fun and will definitely take this advice and try to see how I can do this in my everyday life. I am really thankful to her about other peoples experience and also the challenges they faced and Mrs Tele'a's son is shy tanielu is his name and he is a rugby player and justice and Amelia gave them there gifts but the other person had to live to go to his work.

Haiku's

this is my two haiku's and I wanted some help but I did it by my self and I love doing it solo and we did it in room 4 and all of room 4 did and we finished it and it fun.

This week we were doing some dimic work because a lady from sydney came to see how the teachers in our team teach us dimic. It was really hard becuase i couldn't do it because it was way to hard for me to understand. That's why it was really hard because i'm not that good at my maths and it is my favourite subject at schoo and sports.

My group had to figure out if we disagree or agree that pineapple ice cream and chop suey are popular.I agree because ice cream is good for summer because it cools you down when your sweaty and hot chop survey was good for march because it is cold and the temperature is like 25 to 27 degrees I like Mrs Moala and I like here.

We are doing pie graphs to read and organised data in a pie graph it was really hard for me to do it so i needed a little of help to do this and i asked Mrs Moala. and it was my turn to create a pie graph and i fished it it was hard and easy at the same time. in our math class we did pie graphs and bar graphs and we worked really hard to do it we had to answer Question and doing true or false or can't tell and witch graph did you use and why? i would love to do this again with this maths class.
